Most of us are pretty ordinary people who have settled in a small setting in the Western Hemisphere of a really big planet inside of a massive universe. Yet God is at work building something here just as He was at work building something in the small and unimpressive city of Jerusalem in Nehemiah’s day. Today, in addition to singing, praying, and installing the new leaders in our church, we will look at the next 2 chapters in Nehemiah. Here we will see that God is building something significant through ordinary people who settle in a small place and work together to worship Him. What is God building today in our small setting among ordinary people like us? What does it look like for us to worship Him together in this place?
