When Jesus call out to a man who had been dead in a tomb for 4 days and that man comes walking out, you would think that many woudl believe in Jesus, right? In today's passage, we'll see that some do believe in Jesus. But others see Jesus not as the One at the center of God's good plan but as someone who is a threat to their own "good" plans.
