The terrific Teacher re-tells a perplexing message: The Son of Man will be delivered into the hands of men. The news is met with confusion, concealment, and fear. But, it doesn't deter His disciples from boasting and comparing. When they see true greatness on display, will they rise--or rather, descend--to meet it? Not yet. They encounter and reject a person working miracles in Jesus' name, although the Rabbi corrects them with grace and wisdom. It appears their training has had minimal effect, and Jesus' time to be taken up comes closer.
