Many people have opinions and ideas of what the church is and of what the church does (or should do). In light of the blessed Father, the risen Savior, the coming resurrection, and the unifying Spirit, Paul writes a bold saying. The church, he is convinced, exists to testify to (spiritual) rulers and authorities. This is the purpose of God! And, it gives us confidence in faith.
