Last week we started a sermon series in Hebrews. The book is aimed at highlighting the greatness of Jesus and convincing us to stick with Him because Jesus is better than anything. In chapter 1 we were flooded with reasons to be in awe of the position and power of Jesus. Chapter 2 begins with a warning not to neglect such a great salvation and then we will see the superiority of Jesus in a much different way: Not in His exalted position and power but in His humiliation, suffering, and death. Why is this such good news for us?
