What were you s’posta (i.e. “supposed to”) be doing lately? Most of us who were s’posta be doing something lately have found ourselves doing something else due to the pandemic. Life isn’t playing out the way we thought it would just a few weeks ago. Today is Easter and we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. But before we look closely at Matthew’s account of the resurrection, we’ll take a look at how the events of the most important week in history didn’t play out the way the disciples thought they were s’posta. But does that mean that all of this didn’t go exactly according to God’s plan?
