How can we proclaim with absolute certainty that salvation comes by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone? Is it because church tradition teaches us that? Is it because it is in a church's canon law? No. We proclaim this with absolute certainty because this truth is revealed to us in the God-breathed word of Scripture. And because Scripture is the Word of God, it carries an authority that no human or institution should ever claim.
