Once ______. Now ______. Ephesians 2:11-22 (video)

We just celebrated our nations birthday and were likely reminded that there are many blessings that we enjoy as citizens of this nation. In Ephesians, Paul has reminded the believers in Ephesus of all the spiritual blessing that are theirs because of their identity in Christ. In the first half of chapter 2, he reminds them that though they were once dead in sin, they have been made alive in Christ by God's grace through faith. What a blessing! But there's more. As we turn to the last half of chapter 2, we'll be reminded of what a blessing it is that though we were once separated, hostile strangers we are now reconciled to God and joined and built together as fellow citizens with the saints, as one body in Christ!
