The book of Hebrews has been good and rich but often challenging to relate to or even understand. As 21st century Christians living in relative prosperity and comfort we struggle to identify with 1st century Jews who have become Christians but are seeing persecution and suffering rise around them. In chapter 13, though, the commands (and promises) to the 1st century audience seem remarkably applicable for us in our day.
