Peace. We want it but how do we get it? We want everything to fit together, to be whole, to make sense, to be right. But everything seems so broken. On Palm Sunday, we will look together at Luke’s account of Jesus’ approach to Jerusalem, riding in as King on the colt of a donkey. While the people hail Him as King and proclaim peace, Jesus will weep because they don’t know how peace comes.
