How do we draw near to God? In Judaism this is done through a priest. In the previous couple of chapters in Hebrews, Jesus has been introduced as a priest in the order of Melchizedek. What does that mean? Today, we will see the answer to that in Hebrews 7. We will be encouraged to draw near to God through King Jesus who is the permanent, perfect priest.
