It's Friday morning and the loud crowd is committed to not giving up until the innocent Son of God is condemned to be crucified. Ultimately, Pilate gives in, releasing a guilty man and delivering guiltless Jesus over to be crucified. This really happened and this really matters for us. Jesus, the guiltless King, was delivered over to be delivered up for our sins so that we could be delivered. May God help us know this, believe this, and rejoice in our deliverance.
