Publicly aligning ourselves with Jesus is dangerous. That was true for Peter and it seems to be increasingly true in our day. When given the chance to say that he was with Jesus, Peter instead denied Him. How do we resist the temptation to deny Him? In today's passage, we'll see Jesus arrested, beaten, blasphemed, and tried. But we'll also see a clear picture of who He is. Could it be that being convinced of the reality of who Jesus is might be a key to us resisting the temptation to deny Him?
